Owner of Bisleri Ramesh Chauhan stated that vice-president Jayanthi is not interested in taking over the company. So he wants to sell it to a reputable business.

He asserted that the Tata group will advance it by taking even better care of it. Chauhan traded Thumsup, Gold Spot, and Limca to Coca-Cola in 1993 for $60 million. The Tata group claimed that it is in talks to grow its relationship with Bisleri.
